TEN OR TWELVE DAYS

What are ten or twelve days?

I don't know what they are like for the world.

For Ukraine, it's an eternity

of bombings, of deaths...

It's summer, but not in Ukraine

where the war continues

defending Europe

even if Europe doesn't defend itself

Ten or twelve days

may not be days

but rather eternal nights

fighting in the trenches

For you, they're nothing

and for us, they're everything

fighting without ceasing to fight

neither ten nor twelve days

will be until we achieve freedom
