WHY DO YOU LOOK THE OTHER WAY?

Why do you look away

when you see images

of the war in Ukraine?

Why do you change the channel,

or even worse,

continue eating your meal

when you see the missile impacts on television?

Why do you look the other way

when Europe is bleeding,

when the enemy is your loyal ally,

and so much blood is being shed in Ukraine

from its citizens turned into soldiers?

Will you look the other way

when your own soil is stained with blood

by the bloodthirsty invader

Will you continue to look the other way?
