WHAT WILL BECOME OF UKRAINE?

And what will become of Europe

when Ukraine is disarmed,

its land forever defiled

by the totalitarian boot of the invader?

What will become of the blood shed

by the sons and daughters of Ukraine

who fought for Europe, for their land

where their bodies lie buried?

Were they not citizens like you

with their dreams, their aspirations,

their will to live, and who fought

to the death like soldiers?

What will become of Ukraine?

Tell me, you who watch safely

enjoying life, dreaming

but ignoring the war

and the war will not ignore you

as you ignore the war in Ukraine
