Flowers
will bloom in the sun
sprouting
from the earth
defiled by
the invader
and
watered with their blood
Trees will
rise
proudly to
the sky
calling
out for the heroes
nameless
except for their bones
The
abandoned trenches
will see
life reborn
after
witnessing death come
Ukraine
fights to have
the spring
that was stolen from her
and one
day spring will return
to bloom
in Ukraine
